Japan vs france Live

Japan vs france Live . Japan take on the whales of Sweden and it’s one of the few occasions when the Japanese should fear whales. The stats tell us that Sweden have never won the Women’s World Cup although they did make the final in 2003 (losing to Germany in the first of their back to back victories) and managed a third place finish in 1999.
Beating the mighty Germans
Japan are on their best run to date, following a historic entry to the Semi Finals after never making it this far before. The teams face off in Germany (home of the 2006 Men’s world Cup) on Wednesday night, with what promises to be a thoroughly entertaining match. Bet365 opened the betting odds with Sweden qualifying at -110 and Japan going through at +150.
Japan recorded the most historic of wins as they not only knocked out the defending champions and the host nation, they also ended Germany's 15-game unbeaten streak in World Cup play (they were last beaten, 3-2 by hosts USA in the 1999 quarter-finals). It was a close run thing and it wasn’t until 108 minutes (deep into extra time) that the Japanese forward Karina Maruyama, who came on as a substitute, scored the winner, as the Japanese (nicknamed “Nadeshiko Japan,” a reference to the pink flower embodying a combination of beauty and strength) ran out 1-0 winners.
The soccer odds makers have been desperately recalibrating their soccer lines as Japan wasn’t supposed to beat Germany, so if you’re keen to back Japan get your money in quick, while they’re still a little shaken up. Remember that Germany have won back-to-back women's World Cup victories (2003 & 2007) and are well used to winning big tournaments including the 1995, 2001, 2005 and 2009 European Championships.
Germany put Japan under severe pressure in normal time, but were left open mouthed in the second half of extra-time when midfielder Homare Sawa picked out a deep probing run from Maruyama, who buried the ball and silenced a sell-out home crowd of 26,067. Japan started the tournament 12/1 to lift the trophy and 5/6 to win their group, although they ended the group stage second to England (who went out 4-3 on penalties to France).
Sweden sweep Australia
Earlier in the day, Sweden saw off Australia to book a semi-final place with Japan in a more laid back manner, the Aussies were unable to live up to their status of dark horses and the Swedes made short work of their opposition, heralding parties in saunas all over the archipelago. It was a blued eyed and blonde haired display of quiet composure and sensible maturity that saw Sweden scoring from well-constructed, and professionally executed moves, they were helped along by some school girl errors from the inexperienced Australians.
Still the Australians (nicknamed The Matildas) can hold their heads up high, as they recorded double the number of victories at this year’s event than they had in all of their previous FIFA Women’s World Cups. Their one previous win had come four years ago at China 2007, where they also fell at the quarter-final stage. And though they were outclassed by the Swedes they managed record a goal – ending the match unbowed but beaten 1-3.
Before the tournament kicked off Sweden were also 12/1 in the soccer betting to win it and they were 1/2 to win their group, which they dutifully did. In this match if predicting the half time / full time results floats your boat, the shortest odds are on Sweden winning both halves, +375 and the fattest return is on Sweden winning at half time and losing at 90minutes +3300, with Bodog.
The Sweden captain Caroline Seger. is determined and committed, but certainly isn’t over-confident ahead of Wednesday’s semi-final against Japan in Frankfurt. “This is our time, I feel, and everything is going our way,” she said, “We have more self-belief and we’re playing extremely well together. We believe in what we’re doing and so far it’s worked all the time so we don’t want to change anything. We have had a little bit of luck too and that’s what good teams need. We just want to keep on doing what we’ve been doing.” she continued, “Japan have improved, like us, with every game, they’re a great team, I love watching them. They’re so skilful and they play fun soccer. They look so relaxed getting away from tight spaces. I think, though, our counter-attacks are going to be so crucial. Especially Lotta Schelin, because she can run past any defensive line and I think that’s going to be our key in this game.”
Prediction: A great game but the class and experience of Sweden will turn the match in the Europeans favour. 2-1 Sweden. Japan vs france Live stream
