Ryan Babel, David Ngog and Maxi Rodriguez were on target as Liverpool secured a comfortable victory and move to eighth in the league table.

Fernando Torres is expected to return to the starting lineup for Liverpool after missing the game against Villa due to personal reasons while Nolan is the only major doubt for the Magpies.
