The Rovers recovered from a 7-1 mauling at Manchester United last fortnight after winning 3-0 against Wolves last week. Goals from David Dunn, Brett Emerton and Ryan Nelsen helped Blackburn secure a fine win and erase painful memories of the rout at Man United. Manager Sam Allardyce was happy with the result and hoped his side would continue in the same vein. Manager Owen Coyle would have been disappointed with his side’s showing, but will be confident of taking all three points against Blackburn at home this weekend.
